Adam Baker had has been Head Coach at Swim Swansea since 2007. During his 5 years at the Club he has made significant changes to the structure of the training program, developing the programme into one of the strongest clubs in Wales. Adam has developed the performance pathway so it offers an Elite training environment for the areas top swimmers.
Adam is a ASA Level 4 qualified coach. His innovative coaching ideas have produced a wide variety of swimmers ranging from novice to Senior National Champions, in both the able bodied and disabled categories.
Adam has coached swimmers on to British and Welsh Junior and Senior National teams. He has been on the Coaching Staff of both Welsh and Great Britain squads consistently for the past 5 years. In 2011 Adam was selected for Team GB European Youth Olympics coaching staff, placing 2 swimmers on the Team. The swimmers won 5 medals at the Youth Olympics including 1 gold medal.
Hayley Baker – Age Group Coach
Hayley has been coaching within the program for the last two years; in this short time the swimmers in the squad have made noticeable developments. Hayley moved to the program from a very successful time coaching Bolton Metro Swimming Club. While coaching at Bolton she coached National Champions. She had swimmers selected for British teams and was a coach on the Great Britain end of year tour to Singapore and
Australia, She is also currently on the Great Britain Select coaches squad.
Matt Tutton – National Development / Competitive Development
Former competitive swimmer Matt Tutton joined the Swim Swansea Programme in September 2010. Matt started his coaching career in Newport coaching Swimmers to National Level before becoming the Head coach of another swimming club. As Head Coach Matt coached many swimmers to National finals, Welsh Squad placings, British Disability squad placings and to qualify for British trials. Matt is a self driven and ambitious coach who seeks to drive the Swim Swansea Competitive Development and National Development Squads to future success

Andrea joined the coaching team, after retiring from a very successful international athletic and triathlon career. She competed at the Sydney Olympic Games for Great Britain in the 5000m. Andrea then moved her skills into triathlon. She competed at the highest level finishing as World number 6 last year. The program is very fortunate to have an ex Olympian on the coaching team and she brings a wide range of complementary skills and experiences to the team.
