Competitive Pathway

This is an exciting new pathway that the club feels is vital to the future development of the athletes within the program

We have a performance pathway for athletes that are achieving the set performance criteria, which is based around % of National Qualifying times. This pathway is, as it states, a Performance level squad. The Competitive Development pathway will offer athletes that have not ,as of yet , reached the performance  pathway criteria an opportunity to enhance their training skills and training intensity with a goal of achieving the performance squad criteria at some stage in their Long Term Development. Not every athlete will achieve performance criteria so it is important that we offer opportunities for athletes to continue on their Long Term Competition Development

Development of the athletes

All children develop at different times so therefore require different types of training opportunities. The Performance criteria is set at a very high standard, this is so we maintain our performance status.
